I've really been getting into mixed media over the last year and have begun to incorporate it into my scrapping sometimes. I had my friend Mandie over to scrap today and got out one my favourite, one of a kind papers to make a layout but felt daunted. I was in a more playful mood so I grabbed some stamps, inks, paint and a few paper scraps. I'm really loving the washi tape trend at the moment so I got that out too. In fact it was my inspiration for the whole page. Only two of the strips are actual washi tape. I just cut paper strips to the same width to achieve a similar look. Mandie loaned me her Tim Holtz rosette die and now I know I have to buy one. They are great!

Oh I love this layout - those rosettes are super cute - I want to have a play with some!! Think the die will be on my wishlist too!
